It used to be that if you wanted to fix something simple, it would take you a few tries and then boom done, it seems like in the computer age, information age, or whatever damn age we are in now, everytime there is a "Patch" or " windows update" you can expect something to break, your wifi card drivers, your gpu drivers, or what have you, and if you dont get an update that is breaking something, you are installing some hardware to make a gaming experience better, like a joystick for flight controls, and then you have to jump through a bunch of hoops, it feels like all these programmers have just digitally duck taped all their problems in the past and now we are having to go back and refix all the shenanigans they got paid to build or fix and just robbed all the companies of their capital, ie stealing pay and not doing the job, no wonder so many companies are going bankrupt, workers are not creating value, they are destroying it.

Here is part of my experience attempting to install a joystick on a newer dell pc, with a brand new joystick, all drivers were updated, the joystick did work, but there were other issues, as seen below.
anyone have experience getting this throttle to work?
You gotta map it in game too
Find throttle and double click on it to set it something
Click it once maybe so its blank
Then it should set. Then hit save
the slide for throttle is not being detected by game, it is being detected by computer work around for now is buttons on the joystick similar to f and v not bad
one last thing i will show it the throttle working on pc
so the throttle works, on the pc,
in game the default is set to z axis
Im not sure, i got a thrustmaster and it worked
Did you load the latest driver?
the keys are on the joystick so its all good
i will check drivers 1 more time
Ya im not sure then, might need to open a ticket with them
Or mahbe someone else here has one
i already downloaded a driver and now i believe there is another driver, it may be a driver issue, we have progress here
